Dangerous Goods
Below mentioned departures are reserved for hazardous goods. It is therefore required for all vehicles and passengers on foot to make a reservation at least ½ an hour before departure. For passengers and goods vehicles call +45 62 52 40 00.

The carrier of dangerous goods is obligated to declare the goods at least 24 hours prior to departure.
The carrier must inform Ærøfærgerne of the UN no. and the name of the goods in accordance with the IMDG-code.

Goods vehicles and transport of dangerous goods in LQ (Limited Quantity)
Goods vehicles (company- and service vehicles) transporting dangerous goods under limited quantity exemptions in accordance with ADR regulations must, at the latest, notify the crew of this before boarding the ferry.
Vehicles of this type, who are required to have obtained documentation for sum of points are generally advised to submit or show this document to the crew at this point.
In order for the transport of hazardous goods to take place, above conditions must be met. The goods must be declared correctly and timely.
